Apartamentos Playa Moreia stands directly beside Cala Moreia, the sandy beach also known as S'Illot Beach, on Mallorca's eastern coastline. S'Illot is a compact coastal resort divided by the Torrent de n'Amer between the municipalities of Manacor and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. The immediate surroundings are beach-oriented and walkable, with a promenade, restaurants, bars and shops. Sa Coma continues north beyond the stream and beach, while Cala Millor is approximately 3 kilometres away. The Plaça de sa Savina area provides local bus services. A car is unnecessary for S'Illot and Sa Coma but useful for Porto Cristo, inland Manacor and more distant Mallorca attractions.

• Cala Moreia / S'Illot Beach – approximately 20 metres: The public sandy beach directly in front of the property has a gently shelving shoreline, promenade and seasonal beach facilities.
• Talaiotic Settlement of S'Illot – within the S'Illot resort area: This archaeological site preserves prehistoric stone structures associated with one of Mallorca's important Talaiotic settlements.
• Sa Coma Beach – within walking distance along the adjoining coastline: This larger public sandy beach extends north of S'Illot and provides additional swimming and promenade space.
• Punta de n'Amer – along the coast north of Sa Coma: The protected headland offers walking routes, natural coastal scenery and the historic Castell de sa Punta de n'Amer.
• Cala Millor – approximately 3 kilometres: The neighbouring resort has a long beachfront promenade and a wider concentration of shops, restaurants and visitor services.
• Caves of Drach – approximately 5 kilometres: The major cave attraction near Porto Cristo contains extensive limestone formations and the underground Lake Martel.

• Use Cala Moreia for local beach days; the public sandy beach is approximately 20 metres from the apartment complex and requires no car journey.
• The public bus stop serving S'Illot is around 50 metres from the beach, while Apartamentos Playa Moreia is associated with the Plaça de sa Savina stop area.

May to June and September to early October generally suit beach holidays in S'Illot with warm conditions and fewer peak-season crowds. July and August are hotter and busier, while local festivities in S'Illot take place during the second half of August. Spring and autumn are suitable for coastal walking and trips to Porto Cristo. Winter is quieter and cooler, and seasonal entertainment, pools or tourism-oriented businesses may operate reduced schedules.
